Festival Review 2016

We had hoped to create a successful celebration of dogs with our festival and the support we received was outstanding. We would like to thank all of the stall holders who attended the festival who supplied an amazing variation of things to buy and knowledge to pass on. We would also like to thank all of the Charity stalls that attended, not only did they help support our fund raising but also worked hard on the day to raise money for their own charities. We had some wonderful feed back from the lesser known charities as they were pleased to have had the opportunity to raise more awareness of their causes.
Thank you to our food stalls for supplying the visitors and stall holders with some fabulous food.

A huge thank you to all the local traders and venues in Taunton who generously donated 100 amazing prizes for our Tombola which was a enormous success.

We would like to say a special thank you to the teams family members and friends who supported the team, and without whom we would not have been able to put on such an amazing event. And of course a massive thank you to all the visitors on the day and their amazing dogs, who all behaved impeccably.

A huge thank you is also for Simon Glover representing Friends of Longrun, who was so supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. Longrun Dog Festival has raised £1,400.00 which will be divided between our chosen charities The Oldies Dog Rescue and St Giles Dogs for Adoption.

About Canine Communication

Canine Communication is about using the dogs language to improve and change their behaviour. Canine Communication can alter habits such as pulling, aggression, eating problems, barking, fear, separation anxiety and jumping up.

Canine Communication will make a difference to your dogs behaviour but it is a long term commitment. As the owner you need to be dedicated to implement the changes which may at first seem difficult, but they are actually easy and are just a change in habit.

As the owner you can use simple requests and body language with some treat rewards. Your dog will learn to trust you and your decisions. As the owner and decision maker your dog will relax and become much happier and stop unwanted habits. No force is needed but patience is required from you as the owner. Using this kind and gentle method your dog will want to do what you want them to. This method also enhances the bond you have with your very best friend.
